From the couple:
Back in November or so of 2012 I first contacted Michelle at Michelle Kay Photo. I had come across her images, was intrigued, and ventured over to her blog and website. I loved what I saw upon arrival! Instantly, I sent an email and requested information. Not even 24 hours later I received a response to my inquiry. I did contact several other photographers, had a few phone conversations, but was not impressed. I went with my gut feeling, my first conversation. Michelle worked with us over the almost 2 year span for our engagement shoot, details for the wedding, etc. She was so helpful with suggestions, answering the 12,784 questions I had over this time span, and just being an overall nice/friendly person to deal with. One thing I will remember she said when we first spoke is “Make sure you get along with your photographer, and you like them – because you will be spending most of your day with them.” – And this was 110% true of Michelle.
Wedding day came this past September finally, and it turned out to be 106 degrees out with humidity and all – and some downpour rain during our first dance. Not one picture showed that we were literally dripping sweat. Michelle is adventurous when she shoots, she listens to your suggestions and wants/likes, but also puts her spin on things which are AWESOME. I trusted her fully with pictures that would represent my style, and one of the biggest days of our lives. She was on point in every aspect.
After seeing my pictures via online gallery, I find new ones each time I look at them that are my new “favorites”. It was extremely tough to pick pictures for our album – but thankfully Michelle suggested album pictures and captured exactly what I would have picked for our album.
It has been a pleasure to work with Michelle, and I wish her nothing but success in the future. I would work with her in the future, and recommend her to anyone and everyone I know that gets engaged.
Thank you so, so much for capturing one of the best days of our lives!!!!!!!!!!
